Family Kite Making / Flying Fun

The Belfast Parks and Recreation Department will help you kick spring off with a fun experience of learning about kites, building your own kite and then taking them outside to test the flying skills of your child’s kite ! This fun family event will take place on Saturday, May 3rd at 10am with the Kite Making Program in the Belfast Boathouse followed by flying the kites in Steamboat Landing Park.

Cost of this great springtime tradition is a donation of a non-perishable food item or a $2. donation with all proceeds benefiting the local Soup Kitchen.

Program is open to first 50 children so don’t miss out on this fun activity. For more information contact the Parks and Recreation Office at 338-3370 ext 27
