Family Fun Horse Show to benefit shelter to feed and care for horses -JULY 21

PEMBROKE, Maine — RESCHEDULED! Looking for something fun to do this weekend? First Light Farm Equine Shelter will be hosting a Family Fun Horse Show on Sunday, July 21 at the Pembroke Fairgrounds, Old County Road, Pembroke. The show is a fundraiser to help feed and care for shelter horses. Show registration is at 8 a.m. and the show will start at 9 a.m.

Classes include Grooming and Ground Manners, Cowboy Mounted Squirt Gun, Stick Horse Boot Race (you don’t even need a horse for this one!), Free-style (60 seconds to let your horse strut his stuff!), Balloon Race, Rescue Horse Pleasure, Open Pleasure, Costume and Parade. This will be a lot of fun for participants as well as spectators. The cost for each participant is $25 for the day. Free admission for spectators!
