Fair Thee Well Christmas Fair

St. John’s “Fair Thee Well” Christmas Fair this year will take place on Saturday, December 1st from

9 am to 1 pm at The Episcopal Church of St. John Baptist located at 200 Main Street on the corner of

Green Street in Thomaston.

This year’s fair, chaired by Mariedenice Bernier, will feature a soup luncheon from 11:30 am to 1 pm

serving a choice of hot soups, hearty bread/roll, dessert and beverage – all for $8.00. This menu is

available as take-out also. Delectable baked goods, soups, and other homemade treats will be for sale at

the amazing Food Table where the well-stocked Jam and Jelly Cupboard can be found; as well as our

much-sought-after “Tiffany’s” jewelry sale, and The Bird Table (for our feathered friends). The

opportunity to purchase velveteen Stockings, plain or personalized is a new addition this year. Come early

for freshly-baked donut holes and cider.

weekend in December. Also taking place is The Holiday Open House at “Montpelier,” The General Henry

Knox Museum from 1 pm to 4 pm, both Saturday and Sunday; and the “Living Christmas Tree Cantata” at

The Thomaston Baptist Church with performances on Saturday at 6 pm, Sunday at 4 pm and Monday at
