Fair Thee Well Christmas Fair
St. John’s “Fair Thee Well” Christmas Fair this year will take place on Saturday, December 1st from
9 am to 1 pm at The Episcopal Church of St. John Baptist located at 200 Main Street on the corner of
Green Street in Thomaston.
This year’s fair, chaired by Mariedenice Bernier, will feature a soup luncheon from 11:30 am to 1 pm
serving a choice of hot soups, hearty bread/roll, dessert and beverage – all for $8.00. This menu is
available as take-out also. Delectable baked goods, soups, and other homemade treats will be for sale at
the amazing Food Table where the well-stocked Jam and Jelly Cupboard can be found; as well as our
much-sought-after “Tiffany’s” jewelry sale, and The Bird Table (for our feathered friends). The
opportunity to purchase velveteen Stockings, plain or personalized is a new addition this year. Come early
for freshly-baked donut holes and cider.
Our “Fair Thee Well Christmas Fair,” is only one of several events being held in Thomaston this first
weekend in December. Also taking place is The Holiday Open House at “Montpelier,” The General Henry
Knox Museum from 1 pm to 4 pm, both Saturday and Sunday; and the “Living Christmas Tree Cantata” at
The Thomaston Baptist Church with performances on Saturday at 6 pm, Sunday at 4 pm and Monday at
7 pm.
