STETSON – Celebrate the Columbus Day holiday with a fall foliage paddle on Pleasant Lake.

Sebasticook Regional Land Trust will host the morning paddle, which will include a visit to the Trust’s 150-acre woodlot on the lake. The wooded and wetland property was gifted to the Trust in 2010 by Kent Hewitt to assure it would forever be available for public enjoyment, including hunting and fishing. The property is rich in birds and waterfowl, deer, moose and more. A timber harvest was conducted the past two winters and a trail system is now under construction.

The paddle will begin at 10 AM and wrap up by 1 PM. Space is limited. For directions to the launch site and to register for the paddle, contact Jennifer Irving at 948-3766 or jennifer@sebasticookrlt.org. For more information about Sebasticook Regional Land Trust, visit www.SebasticookRLT.org.
