Ellen Gitomer named VP of development at Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England has named Ellen Gitomer the new vice president of development. Gitomer brings more than 20 years of development experience to this position where she will oversee PPNNE’s annual fund and capital campaign efforts across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.   

Gitomer began her career at PPNNE as a volunteer, before assuming roles in education and in development. Most recently, she served as major and planned giving officer for the organization, based in West Lebanon, N.H.

Gitomer graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire and holds a Master’s in social work from Adelphi University. She serves on the boards of the Lebanon Public Libraries Foundation, Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center and the Planned Giving Council of New Hampshire and Vermont. 

PPNNE is the largest reproductive health provider in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont and provides health care to more than 43,000 patients each year at 21 health centers.
