DURHAM, Maine — Bob Crowley, winner of the reality television show “Survivor: Gabon,” and his wife Peggy will host the second annual Durham Warriors Survival Challenge 2014 Aug. 21-24, at their Maine Forest Yurts property in Durham. This will be the second annual Challenge following its highly successful debut last September.
All proceeds will benefit the Durham Warriors Project, a non-profit organization founded by the Crowleys to provide a free stay at one of their yurts to active duty and retired military personnel and their families. More information on Maine Forest Yurts can be found at www.maineforestyurts.com.
The challenge is set up in a format like that of the television show Survivor with contestants competing in a series of physical and mental challenges over four days, voting other contestants out of the game and ultimately deciding on who will be the winner.
Think you have what it takes to compete in the Challenge? Go to www.durhamwarriorschallenge.com for more information, highlights from last year’s Challenge and an application to be a part of August’s event. Applications will be received through April 15.
