Sagadahoc Preservation’s Dreamland Theater will screen Paths of Glory on Thursday, April 25th at 7pm at the Winter Street Center, in Bath. Paths of Glory is a 1957 American anti-war film by Stanley Kubrick based on the novel of the same name by Humphrey Cobb. Set during World War I, the film stars Kirk Douglas as Colonel Dax, the commanding officer of French soldiers who refused to continue a suicidal attack. Dax attempts to defend them against a charge of cowardice in a court-martial. This week’s film is sponsored by Admiral Steakhouse in Bath.
Movies are shown every Thursday (thru April) at 7pm at the Dreamland Theater at the Winter Street Center in Bath. The suggested donation is $5. The 2012-2013 season is underwritten by Jorgensen Landscaping. Movies are generously donated by River Bottom Video in Bath. All proceeds go toward the maintenance of the Winter Street Center.
Feel free to bring supper. Soft drinks and candies are available for $1 each.
