Downeast Dog Scouts Troop 159 February Program – Children Reading to Dogs

MOUNT DESERT, Maine — The Downeast Dog Scouts Troop 159 will offer a program regarding Children Reading to Dogs Programs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Somesville Fire Station, located at the Corner of Route 102 and Pretty Marsh Road.

The Downeast Dog Scouts will offer a program regarding Children Reading to Dogs Programs. Three experienced therapy dog and handler teams will be available to answer questions. Discussion will include Children Reading to Dogs Programs objectives, benefits, successes and training.

The Downeast Dog Scouts Troop 159 is the Hancock County affiliate of the Dog Scouts of America that promotes responsible dog ownership and the awareness of the human/canine bond.
