For any BDN Readers who use GMail, you know by now that Gmail has implemented new “Tabs”.
This is great if you’re not currently using labels and filter rules to keep your inbox tidy. If you’re like me and you are however, the new GMail Tabs are irritating and can potentially lead to you missing that all-important client email.
With that in mind, here’s how you disable Gmail’s “Tabs”.
1.) Click the Settings Gear in the upper right-hand corner of Gmail.
2.) Click “Configure Inbox” in the drop-down.
3.) Un-check all Tabs.
You won’t be able to un-check the “Primary” tab, but that’s ok.
These three simple steps will disable GMail Tabs and put your “email-life” back to normal.
