NEWPORT, Maine — Devin Bussell of St. Albans, a senior at Nokomis Regional High, has been selected to receive the 2013 Principal’s Award, Principal Mary Nadeau announced. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
Throughout his tenure at Nokomis, Devin has been a standout at Nokomis on several fronts, says Principal Nadeau. “He has excelled in the classroom, the athletic fields, several academic clubs, and is highly respected by both peers and staff for his character and school citizenship.” Ms. Nadeau adds, “Devin has been an outstanding Warrior and I am very proud to recognize this deserving student.”
Devin, Ms. Nadeau, and other award winners and their principals attended an Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 12:30 p.m.
