Culvert replacement project to begin in Grafton Township

GRAFTON TOWNSHIP, Maine — Maine Department of Transportation crews will replace a box culvert in Grafton Township beginning Monday, Aug. 11.

The project will be on Route 26 approximately 1.78 miles north of the Newry town line. Temporary traffic signals will be used to provide alternating one-way traffic for motorists for the duration of the project.

It is anticipated all work will be completed by mid-October.

Drew Corporation of Lovell will perform this $258,000 project.
