BANGOR, Maine — Cross Insurance, a subsidiary of Cross Financial Corp., and one of the largest independent insurance providers in New England, has announced a comprehensive partnership with the Portland Sea Dogs that recognizes the Bangor-based, family-owned agency as the Official Insurance Broker of the Double-A baseball team.
“Cross Insurance is proud to be named the official insurance broker of the Portland Sea Dogs, a team widely hailed not just within the state of Maine but all of New England as well,” said Jonathan Cross, Executive Vice President of Cross Insurance, in a press release. “With this partnership, we look forward to further expanding our brand across a wide roster of sports organizations.”
In addition to proudly serving as the Official Insurance Broker of the Portland Sea Dogs, Cross Insurance will maintain a visible presence at Hadlock Field, home to the Maine-based minor league baseball team, during the 2014 season.
Cross Insurance currently serves as the Official Insurance Broker of the New England Patriots, New England Revolution, Gillette Stadium, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
Founded in 1994, the Portland Sea Dogs is the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
