BAR HARBOR — Dust off your dancing shoes and join the Big Moose Band at the Jesup Memorial Library this Saturday, July 6 for a fun evening of dancing.

A family dance geared toward families with young children starts with a lesson at 6:30 p.m. A contra dance for young adults and all starts at 8 p.m. All dances will be taught – no dancing experience or even a partner needed to join in and have a great time.

Suggested donation is $2 for adults and $1 for children at the family dance, and $6 for adults at the contra dance to pay the caller. Everyone is welcome to this fun community event. For more information, call 288-5620, or the Jesup at 288-4245.

The Big Moose Band is a group of music-loving friends who play traditional acoustic music and lively dance tunes.
