Come One, Come All to The Mutt Scrub!

Posted July 16, 2013, at 4:17 p.m.

Come join mutts and their humans at 22 McKown St. in Boothbay Harbor on July 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the first ever “Boothbay Harbor Mutt Scrub!”

The event is sponsored by Two Salty Dogs Pet Outfitters and Mutt Nose Best natural pet products. All proceeds will benefit the Lincoln County Animal Shelter and BARKK (Because Acts of Random Kindness Kount). People are invited to have their dogs shampooed with environmentally-friendly, sulfate-free Mutt Nose Best products for a donation. Don’t have a dog, but want to make a difference? Donate to have a shelter dog washed! And of course, all shelter dogs at the Mutt Scrub are up for adoption.

There will also be dog nail trimming, kid-made dog treats, rope toys, a raffle, and frozen doggie smoothies from Portland’s own Smart Pup! The park for the scrub has been generously donated by Coastal Shipping of Boothbay Harbor.

If you are interested in helping out or sponsoring this event, please contact Don Kingsbury at don@twosaltydogs.net.
