CLIFTON, Maine —  Clifton Republicans will caucus at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Student Commons, Husson University, according to an announcement from Blanche Woehr, chair of Clifton Town Committee.

The purpose of the caucus is to elect delegates and alternates to the Republican State Convention, elect members of the Penobscot County Republican Committee, and organize for the upcoming elections.  All Clifton Republicans are urged to attend this event.

The State Convention will be held April 25 and 26, at the Cross Insurance Convention Center in Bangor.  This is an excellent opportunity for local Republicans to meet and speak with those who are running for office.
