OLD TOWN, Maine — Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) is pleased to announce that Christopher Johnston, DO, has joined the medical staff at PCHC’s Helen Hunt Health Center, 242 Brunswick St., Old Town. Dr. Johnston’s practice centers on all aspects of high-quality medical care, including patient physicals, acute visits, osteopathic manipulation therapy, and health care maintenance.
Dr. Johnston received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine, his Master’s degree from Clayton College, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England. Prior to joining Penobscot Community Health Care, Dr. Johnston also completed a residency program with Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency and has special interests in Pediatrics, Hospice Care, and Integrative and Complimentary Medicine.
Robert Allen, MD, PCHC’s Executive Medical Director, states, “Dr. Johnston is an outstanding physician who is very proactive in patient care and also highly skilled in osteopathic manipulation therapy. Dr. Johnston will be a wonderful new resource for the patients of Old Town.”
