The Calais Downtown Revitalization Coalition (CDRC) is hosting a Full Moon party on Oct. 18 beginning at 7 p.m. at St. Croix Country Club. This special October event is a celebration of all the accomplishments that this hard-working group has done since its inception a year and a half ago.
Everyone is invited to come find out what’s been going on, what the future plans are, and meet the people who are committed to the revitalization of downtown Calais. There will be door prizes, free appetizers, music, and a cash bar. A main attraction for the night is the drawing of the infamous “Wheelbarrow Full of Cheer” which is valued at about $500. Raffle tickets can be purchased the night of the party, as well as Artemis’s Attic (where the wheelbarrow is on display), Calais Bookshop, and Sew Outrageous. Proceeds benefit CDRC which is a member of the Maine Downtown Network.
This Full Moon is the Hunters’ Moon, so dressing in your hunting gear is encouraged (but not required). This will be a great night to kick off our holiday season, so come share the cheer.
