Caribou veteran visits Caribou state representative

AUGUSTA, Maine – George W. Knorr of Caribou, a decorated 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force and current proficiently skilled-mechanic at Beaulieu’s Garage and Body Shop, was the guest of Rep. Carol A. McElwee, R-Caribou, and State Rep. Bernard L.A. Ayotte, R-Caswell, on Monday, April 14.

Knorr attended the morning House Republican caucus and ensuing session in the House Chamber.

Rep. McElwee was delighted to have Knorr as her guest for the day, while he was honored to have the opportunity to witness the day’s legislative activities and discuss current policies under consideration in Augusta with both the representative and Gov. Paul LePage.

Knorr said he appreciated Rep. McElwee and Gov. LePage taking time out their busy schedules to meet with him.
