BROOKS, Maine — Camp Forest was awarded $ 1,050 in grant funding from United Mid-Coast Charities. Beverly Stone, director of Expanding Opportunities, accepted the award from Lee Woodward on April 26. The funds will be used to provide full or partial camperships for children to attend Camp Forest this summer. Camp Forest is a wilderness day and expedition camp for children ages 7- to 17. Family expeditions and adult workshops also are offered.
