BANGOR, Maine — Award winning photographer, teacher and author David Middleton, based in Vermont, will speak at the meeting of the Eastern Maine Camera Club at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Bangor Parks and Recreation building, 647 Main St. Middleton, a professional photographer for 30 years who has taught more than 200 photography workshops, is a contributing editor for Outdoor Photography Magazine. His talk, “The Lobstering Life,” is based on his book of the same title. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Middleton will give a workshop 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Dysart’s, 1110 Broadway (corner of Broadway and Griffin Road). The theme will be “Taking Your Photography to the Next Level.” In the afternoon, he will critique images. Participants may email 2 JPEG images to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cost of the workshop $40 and lunch will be catered by Dysarts for an additional $10. The workshop is open to the public.
