CAMDEN, Maine — Gregory A. Dufour, president and chief executive officer of Camden National Bank, is pleased to announce Leah Peabody as mortgage loan officer. Peabody will be based in Bangor. She will report to Linda Gilbert, retail regional manager for Camden National Bank.
“Camden National Bank is a community bank with local decision making, consistency, and integrity – a trusted partner with core values I believe in,” said Peabody in a company press release. “I will use my knowledge of mortgage products and years of experience to assist borrowers in getting the right mortgage for them.”
Based at the Union Street branch, Peabody will serve Bangor and the surrounding areas and seeks to develop the already strong relationship between Camden National Bank and the community.
“We are excited to have Leah join our Camden National Bank family,” said Gilbert, in the press release. “Camden National Bank works with customers to really understand their needs and unique circumstances and match them with the loans that meet their long term financial goals – this is why we rely on having the best loan officers around.”
Peabody is active in the community volunteering at United Way, The Children’s Miracle Network, and the Komen Race for the Cure. She also is a member of the Greater Bangor Association of Realtors. A Maine native, Peabody enjoys her home state’s natural beauty while fishing, camping and adventuring with her husband John and 5-year-old son, Isaac.
