Amid nature’s vibrant summer display, artists and craftspeople present their own creations at Camden’s Carol Sebold Summer HarborArts Juried Arts & Crafts Show July 19 & 20. Presented by the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce, this annual summer show has become a two-day festival of the arts alongside Camden’s scenic harbor.
The event in its original location in Harbor Park will also feature exhibitor booths in the Amphitheatre and along Atlantic Avenue in Camden.
HarborArts offers items for every taste and prices for every pocketbook. Art patrons will find works in watercolor, oil, acrylics, pastels, as well as photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Fans of handcrafted wares can shop for pottery, glass, woodcrafts, jewelry, and furniture.
HarborArts is a great day-trip or weekend destination. Area inns, motels, and other lodgings offer special packages that welcome guests for HarborArts, schooner sails, and the amazing coastal panorama from nearby Mount Battie.
A complete list of exhibitors and booth locations will be available at the Chamber information tent during the show.
HarborArts hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the show is free and handicapped accessible. For lodging, dining, and area information and a free copy of Discover the Jewel of the Maine Coast, please contact the Chamber at 207-596-0376 or www.penbaychamber.com
