Cafe owner in Bangor honored with Legislative Sentiment

AUGUSTA — The Maine Senate honored Whoopie Pie Cafe owner James Gallagher (right) in recognition of his being named Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Maine for 2016 by the U.S. Small Business Association. State Sen. Geoff Gratwick of Bangor, hometown of Whoopie Pie Cafe, and his colleagues presented Gallagher with a Legislative Sentiment, a significant expression by the Legislature in recognition of civic and public achievements. Gallagher is from the Bangor area, worked in Boston for several years, but decided to return to Bangor because of the opportunities here.
