Business and Professional Women awards scholarships

The For Kent Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) local organization awarded their annual scholarships to Marissa Hebert and Melanie Saucier.

Hebert, daughter of Maurice and Lisa, will attend Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire majoring in health sciences.

Melanie Saucier, daughter of Gary and Diane Nadeau, is a Fort Kent BPW member, making her the youngest Maine/BPW member. Saucier was awarded a Fort Kent BPW scholarship and the Maine/BPW $1,200 Lovejoy-Lemieux scholarship. Saucier will attend New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts, where she will major in vocal performance opera/music.
