Burns & McDonnell hires business and technology services veteran Kevin O’Hara

NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine — The New England office of Burns & McDonnell has hired Kevin O’Hara as Senior Information Specialist. O’Hara joins the firm’s Business and Technology Services group.  He will be working on several mega-scale projects through the Northeast for the company including the Maine Power Reliability Program where Burns & McDonnell serves as Program Manager.

O’Hara, a respected veteran in the industry, will play a key role as Burns & McDonnell continues to utilize and develop cutting edge technology to collect, move and manage data. O’Hara will work on several large-scale construction projects in which Burns & McDonnell serves as Program Manager, and his functions will be critical in helping clients to be successful by quickly moving information from the field to the office.

O’Hara brings over twenty five years of diverse business and technical experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation and management of information systems.

Previously O’Hara was Owner of TimePiece Project Solutions, LLC where he provided consulting and system services primarily to the construction industry. This included the implementation and support of Primavera Contract Manager which is a program utilized currently by Burns & McDonnell’s Program Management team. Prior to owning his own company, O’Hara worked for Primavera Systems, Inc. for nine years.

O’Hara, a resident of Moultonborough, NH holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pa.
