Bugaboo Creek Steak House, the family-friendly steak house restaurant chain based on the culture and culinary secrets of the Bugaboo Mountains in the Canadian Rockies located at 24 Bangor Mall Blvd., is holding its annual “Moxie’s School Supply Drive” throughout the month of August. The donations will be given to a local school.
Donations of notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, backpacks, art supplies, binders, glue and glue sticks, colored pencils, gift cards, markers or crayons, drawing compasses, pencil cases, calculators, sharpeners, rulers and books can be made at the smiling guest greeter station. Guests who donate will receive a coupon for a free appetizer to be used in September.
“We love to get our lodges involved in the community and supporting our local schools and students is a great way to do so,” said Chris Campbell, president and head trail guide of Bugaboo Creek. “It’s a great community builder and we have a lot of fun with it. Our customers have always enjoyed it as well.”
Originally founded in the 1990s by Edward P. “Ned” Grace III, who also founded The Capital Grille chain of upscale steak houses, Bugaboo Creek Steak House is recognized for its delicious steaks, seafood, salads and signature dishes; exceptional service and rustic mountain-lodge atmosphere featuring its one-of-a-kind animatronics show with a talking moose above the fireplace and many more animated characters. There are 12 Bugaboo Creek Steak House restaurants in Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire and New York.
