WEST POINT, N.Y. – Cadet Jonathan Bruce Goodin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Goodin of Bucksport, was graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on Saturday, May 25 .

Goodin was graduated from Bucksport High School in 2009. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in engineering psychology with honors. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Infantry branch and will report to Fort Carson, Colo., for his first assignment.

The U.S. Military Academy is a four-year co-educational federal undergraduate liberal arts college located 50 miles north of New York City.
