We were a few of the many that made it out to this year’s Penobscot River Winterfest in Brewer (the weather was perfect for the event)
Lilly and I grabbed a moment to catch the ice sculpture competition by the Muddy Rudder, met and talked with Larry Doughty (Brewer City Council), slid down the sledding hill and caught some of the events in the Brewer Auditorium!
I was a little dissappointed we weren’t able to catch the “Sniffleball” softball tournament (maybe I’ll actually play next year?) and the chili and chowder cook-off.
It was great seeing folks from Brewer enjoying the day and talking with people who came to check out the happenings (thanks to the family from Ellsworth that let us try their snow tubes as well!)
