Bradford to Celebrate Bradford Days

BRADFORD, Maine — July 21, 2012 will bring festivities to Bradford beginning with a 10 o’clock parade. While waiting for the parade, visitors may visit the book sale (9-noon) at the John B. Curtis Free Public Library or the Bradford Heritage Museum in the library basement (9-3). Following the parade, activities at the Community Center on East Road will include: a horse show, baseball games, children’s games, dunk tank, Mechanical Bull, cross-cut and frying pan throwing competitions, demonstrations, concerts, pony rides, food, and a pig scramble. At 5:30 the Bradford Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual auction.. The day will end with fireworks at 9:30. On Sunday Bradford Days services will be at 11 o’clock at the Bradford United Baptist Church.
