Blue Hill’s New Surry Theatre presents ‘Carousel’

BLUE HILL, Maine — New Surry Theatre presents Rogers and Hammerstein’s beloved “Carousel,” July 17-19, 24-26 and August 1-2 at 7 p.m. and July 27 at 3 p.m, upstairs in Town Hall, 18 Union St. Set in Downeast Maine, this moving love story is peppered with lively and real characters and musical favorites such as “If I Loved You,” “June is Busting Out All Over,” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Directed by Rebecca Poole with musical direction by Beth Kyzer and choreography by Maureen Robinson and Nina Robinson-Poole.
