The Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library Film Series continues on Thursday, April 10th at 7:00 PM with Shadow of a Doubt (1943, originally scheduled for last month but was cancelled because of snow), directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Teresa Wright, Joseph Cotten and MacDonald Cary. A teenager living in a quiet town with her family wishes for a visit from her uncle, whom she idolizes. When he finally does visit she is thrilled but then finds out that he is suspected of being the “Merry Widow Killer”, knocking off elderly rich widows, and later observes him acting strangely.

All films are shown free of charge on the Library’s “pretty big” screen in the Howard Room. For more information, call the Library (374-5515) or Michael Donahue, 374-5248 or Donahue.mg@gmail.com.
