BAR HARBOR — Bestselling mystery writer Sarah Graves will be at the Jesup Memorial Library on Thursday, June 13, at 7 p.m. to talk about “A Bat in the Belfry,” the newest addition to her popular Home Repair Is Homicide mystery series.

This writer from Eastport, Maine, has won raves, awards and a legion of fans for the Eastport-set series, which has more than a million books in print. In the most recent book, the storm of the century blows an ill wind into Eastport, and with it, of course, comes murder. But a mystery woman whose motives are suspect arrives too; is she the help the heroine needs or the final nail in her coffin?

This is the third in the Jesup’s Summer Author Series which is co-sponsored by Sherman’s Books, and Sherman’s will be on hand with books for purchase — a portion of all books purchased at the library that night goes to the Jesup.

For more information about the author, visit www.sarahgraves.net. And for more information about the event, call the Jesup at 207-288-4245 or e-mail mrice@jesuplibrary.org.
