BREWER-Inspirational Speaker and Brewer High School Alum Michael J Chase will speak on “Survival of the Kindest: How Living From Your Heart Can Save Your Life” on September 25th at 6:30 pm at Brewer Performing Arts Center. Chase shares gripping stories from his past and explains how a family history of violence, substance abuse, depression, and suicide actually inspired him to dedicate his life to a mission of kindness. His down to earth speaking style allows him to create an immediate bond with his audiences. Known for his contagious energy, humor, and heartwarming stories, he proves how the astonishing power of kindness can transform all areas of our lives and ultimately, our world.
It’s Chase’s belief that the world we live in, fast paced and technology driven, has caused us to lose some of our natural human traits like kindness, compassion, patience and gratitude. These characteristics are essential not only in our personal and professional lives, but also for the wellbeing of our planet. He suggests that the time has come for a complete revolution of the heart
During this inspirational lecture, Chase will reveal the extraordinary benefits of adopting kindness as a way of life. “By learning to fully open our hearts and overcome the obstacles which create unkind behavior, we discover the pathway to positive relationships, inner peace, and especially, global harmony,” Chase says.
