Belfast Garden Club Donates Funds for New Garden Books

BELFAST, Maine — The Belfast Garden Club historian, Sally Shure, presents a check for $150 to librarian Tom Neely at The Searsmont Town Library. The money is slated for new garden related books for the library’s collection as part of the Belfast Garden Club’s Community Outreach Program which is funded in-part by proceeds from their annual Green Thumb Plant Sale. This year’s sale is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m.  May 19, at the Belfast Boathouse.
