Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad to restart operations April 27

BROOKS, Maine — Beginning this weekend, the Brooks Preservation Society’s Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad will be starting up operations for the season.

Regular passenger trains will begin Memorial Day Weekend out of Belfast , at City Point Museum.

Beginning April 27, work trains and special runs will be out on the line between Belfast and Burnham Junction in Waldo county. The preservation society encourages those who are crossing tracks to obey all crossing signals and be on the lookout for other work equipment that may crossing.  Visit www.BrooksPreservation.org
