ELLSWORTH, Maine — Curtis C. Simard, president and CEO of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, along with the Board of Directors, is pleased to announce that Holly Archer, Retail and Residential Lending Officer, has been promoted to AVP/Retail & Residential Lending.
Holly Archer, AVP/Retail & Residential Lending, assists customers in obtaining home mortgages and equity loans. Initially hired by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in 2009 as a manager trainee, Holly was promoted a year later to branch relationship manager at the Milbridge branch, where she oversaw daily operations, assisted consumer and commercial customers with loan and deposit needs, and coached her team for success.
In 2013 Holly transitioned to the position of residential lending officer for the Ellsworth and Winter Harbor areas, with her office located in the Ellsworth financial center at 125 High St. Holly holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine, Orono, and she is a graduate of Ellsworth High School.
In the community Holly serves on the Board of Directors of the Ellsworth High School Alumni Association. She volunteers at Bank sponsored community service events and teaches financial education to children in the community. Holly lives in Ellsworth and is married to Brian Archer II.
