Bangor Veterans’ Acupuncture Clinic

PRESS RELEASE

BANGOR VETERANS ACUPUNCTURE CLINIC (BVAC)

OBJECTIVE: To help participants deal with emotional and physical stress.

PARTICIPATION: Veterans and active duty military personnel and their immediate family members.

COST: Free (donations will also be accepted)

DATES: Every Thursday beginning September 13th, 2012 (There is no limit to the number of times someone may attend)

LOCATION: Grace United Methodist Church, 193 Union Street, Bangor, ME

TIME: 6:45pm – 8:00pm (Please arrive on time to avoid disturbing others.)

ACCESSIBILITY: The clinic is handicap accessible.

DESCRIPTION: A licensed acupuncturists will insert 5 sterile acupuncture needles in each ear. The participants will be asked to sit quietly for 45 minutes, then the needles will be removed.
