BANGOR, Maine — Bangor Savings Bank’s Aimee Libbey and Lori Smart were pleased to present a check for $5,000 from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation to Orono Bog Boardwalk. The Orono Bog Boardwalk is a one-mile boardwalk loop trail that begins at the forested wetland edge in the Bangor City Forest and crosses into the University of Maine Orono bog area. This boardwalk has become a premier destination for local people to experience the beauty and fascinating plants and animals of the Maine bog.
