BANGOR, Maine — Maine Prep’s SAT prep classes for Bangor area high school students will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Sunday, March 4 through April 29.

The 8-session course, designed to teach students strategies to use in the math, writing and reading sections of the SAT, will take place at the O’Donnell Commons on the Husson University campus, 1 College Circle, Bangor. The teacher is Dr. Frank Hubbard.

The goal of the course is to help students raise scores for the mandatory statewide May 5 SAT. Students’ SAT scores will be used not only to compete for college admission and financial aid awards, but also for assessing the proficiency of Maine high schools.
