Bangor SAT prep classes begin Jan. 23 at Husson University

BANGOR, Maine — Maine Prep’s SAT prep classes for Bangor area high school students will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday and Sunday, Jan. 23 through March 6, to prepare students for the March 9 SAT test.

The eight-session course, designed to teach students strategies to use in the math, writing and reading sections of the SAT, will meet at the O’Donnell Commons on the Husson University campus, 1 College Circle, Bangor. The teachers are Dr. Frank Hubbard and Irene Haskins.

Maine Prep was founded in 2002 to help Maine students raise SAT scores, boost their admission chances, and qualify for merit scholarships.
