Maine Prep’s SAT prep classes for Bangor area high school students will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Sunday evening, August 10 through October 5, at the O’Donnell Commons on the Husson University campus, 1 University Circle, Bangor. The teachers are Dr. Frank Hubbard and Irene Haskins of Husson University.
Classes, designed to teach students strategies to use in the math, writing and reading sections of the SAT, will prepare students for the October 2014 SAT and PSAT tests.
The eight-session SAT prep course is specially designed to prepare high school students who plan to apply to college early decision. For seniors, the October SAT test is the last chance to improve SAT scores before early decision application deadlines. For juniors planning to apply early decision, it is important that they prepare for the October PSAT to achieve the best possible scores.
