BANGOR, Maine — Dave Bubar of Bangor was the lucky recipient of a baseball autographed by Dustin Pedroia. The ball was presented to Bubar by his employer, Sullivan Tire, at the Portland Sea Dogs game on July 28.

Sullivan Tire recognized all of its Maine employees at the game who have been with the company for at least five years. Thirty-five employees and their families were treated to a pre-game barbecue.

Additionally, the employees were recognized on the field and Josh Wills, assistant manager at The Sullivan Tire Portland Commercial location, had the honor of throwing out the first pitch.

Bubar was honored with the autographed ball because he had the distinction of driving the farthest to get to the game. Bubar lives in St. Albans and works at the Sullivan Tire wholesale location in Bangor.
