Bangor Classes to Help Students Improve SAT Scores Begin July 2 at Husson

Maine Prep’s July SAT prep classes for Bangor area high school students will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday and Sunday, July 2 through July 27, to prepare students for the October 2014 SAT and PSAT.

The eight-session, sixteen-hour course, designed to teach students strategies to use in the math, writing and reading sections of the SAT, meets at the O’Donnell Commons on the Husson University campus, 1 University Circle, Bangor. The teachers are Dr. Frank Hubbard and Irene Haskins of Husson University.

Concentrated July SAT classes are scheduled for families who summer in Maine and for all high school seniors who want to improve their SAT scores before Early Decision college applications. Finally, it is recommended that students prep for the SAT the summer before entering their junior year.

The Maine Prep curriculum consists of real SATs and Maine Prep’s unique TEN FOR TEN curricular materials which have helped students raise SAT scores, boost their admission chances, and qualify for merit scholarships.
