In just a month’s time, on July 7 and 8, artists will fill Heritage Park, downtown on Belfast’s waterfront, for the 17th Annual Arts in the Park. This year there are many new artists, along with many favorite regulars and, in all, 85 artists will be participating. Our Artist of the Year, is Bangor fiber artist Jodi Clayton, whose artistry consists of making beautiful garments from hand dyed and felted silk. Her gallery/boutique, One Lupine Fiber Arts, is on Park Street in Bangor. One of her beautiful scarfs is the motif for this year’s poster, designed by Sara Shute.
