Community Herbal & Masage will offer a three-hour workshop on Sunday, September 19th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Discussion will focus on ways to rid our bodies of the over-heatedness of summer and prepare for the cooler weather of fall. Through specific foods, herbs, roots, berries, and activities, the joy of autumn can be fully appreciated. Preparation for winter is not necessarily just the buying of boots and jackets! Root veggies and delicious offerings from the fall herbal gardens support the immune system and allow your body to gracefully enter the winter months. Come learn and share your stories. Enjoy herbal teas and take home new information specific to YOU and your body type/needs! $35 Please register by phone (852-2553), but feel free to come in if you decide to spur-of-the-moment! 1147 Outer Hammond Street, Bangor, Thomas Plaza (next to Jason’s Pizza).
