Pamela Hetherly, paints with oils, utilizing a painting knife to encourage large simple forms and bold gestures. Her interest now is in capturing big shapes and bold gestures in every painting. Every brush stroke is expressive in color and value.

Lydia Kaeyer, a watercolor painter, will be showing her newest collection of work that will feature Maine waterfront scenes, dories, workboats and windjammers. Lydia’s work depicts the true grit that makes Maine special.  Vibrant color forms and the white of the paper make the watercolors come alive.

Laura Max is working with metals for this show. The material continues to fascinate her; from how it moves with each hammer blow to the textures and shine of the surface that can offer a sense of movement and life.  Her materials are steel and copper for this collection of work.

Hannah Nelsbach, loves to paint human forms. For this exhibition she is working with the theme of Hobbies for Men, which include, “The Old Timer Freak”, “The Hunter”, “The Golfer”, “The Angler” and “The Farmer”. The details are very realistic painted with Acrylic on Fiberglass.
