BANGOR, ME – (06/06/2014) – The Annual Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor Plant Sale will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor, 120 Park Street (up the hill from Bangor City Hall).
According to UUSB member Laurie Cartier, “Our annual plant sale has become a spring tradition in the Bangor community. Many UUSB members will be sharing perennial plants which they have dug up from their own gardens.“
These plants have survived tough Maine winters, she said, they are likely to be very hardy as a result.
Favorite perennials such as hosta, lupine, bleeding hearts, and astilbe will be available, as well as many varieties of garden vegetables and annual flower seedlings. There will also be some house plants for sale.
