The Lincoln Memorial Library has been attempting to develop programs and the building itself to be a place that serves the needs of the Dennysville community and surrounding area through books, information, technology, and children’s use, among others things. The annual meeting, that will be held at the library on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to noon, will be an opportunity to hear a summary of the past year’s accomplishments and hopes for the future that are already moving forward. It will also be an opportunity for the trustees, the volunteer librarians, and interested public to contribute to the thoughts and planning for the coming year. The space now available for the library’s use, following the Town of Dennysville moving their office to the new Town Hall, is at the forefront of new plans, as renovation to the room begins. Everyone who has any suggestions or ideas to help the library grow and improve its service to the community is most welcome.
