FORT KENT, Maine —The Greater Fort Kent Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 32nd Annual Arts & Craft Fair scheduled on Saturday, Nov. 24 and Sunday, Nov. 25 at the University of Maine at Fort Kent’s Sports Center.
Doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission for adults is $1. Children 12 and under may attend free.
“This arts and craft fair is the longest running craft fair in the Valley. It features local crafters, as well as vendors from outside the area,” notes Arts and Craft Fair Chair Cheryl Harvey.
This year, the arts and craft fair promises to be the most diverse in years, featuring original artwork, pottery, primitives, jewelry, specialty foods, holiday decor, hand knits, soaps, maple products, candles and much more from over 100 talented individuals.
“All vendor’s crafts are juried, all must be at least 60 percent handmade,” adds Harvey.
Many area residents and visitors have made attending the annual arts and craft fair a family tradition.
